Founded in 2015, A5 Sports was born from a lifelong passion for soccer, shared by brothers Eric and Daniel Antunez.
Growing up in the soccer hot-bed of Santa Ana, California, the love of soccer was embedded into their family—it’s part of their very essence. Daniel played professionally and inspired Eric to be an agent. Their shared passion for soccer sparked an idea that drives the agency today. Better professional representation, for every type of player.
Eric Antunez

Eric understands that the professional sports industry is a cutthroat business, and brings his experience in contract negotiations, dispute resolutions, and market data to help players obtain the best value, and advocate for players in a professional way.
Eric’s passion for helping others comes from his personal life. Eric learned several life lessons through sports and through his family. Loyalty, commitment, faith in God being the most important. He tries to instill those principles in how he manages his business and his family. Players are treated like family.
Daniel Antunez
Director of Scouting
Licensed coach & Retired Professional Soccer Player
Daniel’s love for soccer began around the age of 4, and he played his first organized soccer match at 6. By 10 years old, Daniel knew he wanted to be a professional soccer player.
The ball was an extension of his being—part of his soul.
The Antunez family knew that God blessed Daniel with a gift to play the beautiful game. Which led to Daniel obtaining scholarships for college, and becoming an MLS Draft Pick out of the University of Hartford.
Daniel’s passion for the game allowed him to play in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, & Finland. In his professional career Daniel played against players such as Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, scored against renowned Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, was MLS teammates with former US National team captain Carlos Bocanegra.
As the Director of Scouting, Daniel uses his experience to help pro players and aspiring pro players navigate the world of professional soccer in North America. Daniel advises players with empathy and provides great perspective.
Nadine Antunez
Founding Partner, Marketing Director
Nadine holds a B.B.A. in International Business from the Netherlands and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management from Newcastle Business School in the UK. So it is only natural that Nadine is an integral part of A5 Sports.
As a wife to founder Eric Antunez, and a mother of active two boys, Nadine’s passion comes from her family. She uses her maternal instincts to support Eric and Daniel, and uses her business experience to enhance the image of the agency and the athletes.
As the VP of a Tyler Texas based web design and Marketing agency, Nadine uses her experience in that arena to support Eric and Daniel as they help others achieve their dreams through soccer.
